It is Sterling's (Champ. Daretobebares STERLING SILVER) birthday. Three years ago she had to walk to the other side of the bridge at the age of 16 years and 3 months. A great age of course, but they always leave too early. Happy Birthday darling, you will never be forgotten.

On my way from the vet I had to stop this time to take a pic of the stork family . I'm always happy when I see them, and yearly I can't wait that they come back from their winter "holiday" somewhere in the south.

I don't have any information if Tanner (Caipirinha's NUTBUSH CITY LIMIT) in Canada and Toulouse (Caipirinhas's NOTHING 2LOSE) in Germany are still alive. However, I also sent them the best wishes.

Jaris (HAPPY JARIS Dandy mate) came back home today. She was cremated on May 13, and now I could pick up her urn.

Back from the three-day international show in Herend/HU. Only just three weeks after her return from Finland, my "superdog" Mamacita (CIB Ch BALT LT EE LV FIN SK MN SLO SRB RO BIH RS GrCh SK RO SRB BIH JSRB Jamming’s MAMACITA) rocked the show rings, claiming another championship with three class wins and two Res. CACIB. She is now also Beauty Champion of Hungary.

It's a sad day. Jaris (HAPPY JARIS Dandy mate) gained her angel wings this morning at the age of 17 years, 3 months, and 8 days. A wonderful age, no doubt about it, but it still hits me hard. She was healthy all her life, a sweet and friendly dog to everyone else in the pack, always funny and full of joy ......
Jaris, you will be missed. Now you are reunited with your children and their father, Steel (Champ. Silver Bluff STEEL KING LEGACY, AOM). Farewell until we meet again. I'm sorry I wasn't with you in your final hours, but was at a show instead. If I had known that this was your time, I would have stayed home.
And on this very day, 7 years ago, my soulmate Keanu (CIB Multi-Champ, Whispering in the Devil's Advocate) was taken from me completely unexpectedly.
A candle was lit for them both.

Finally, another day to celebrate: today, Hippie (CIB Multi-Champ. by Shinbashi HIGH PROVOCATION) turns 8 years young. Happy birthday! I wish us many, many more years together.

On this day in 1989, Arwa Z. (ARWA Zevar CS, SchH 1) was born, the Briard girl I rescued from her previous owner's senseless euthanasia. A wonderful dog, grateful for everything throughout her life, a wonderful mother to the A-litter de la Maison du Garde-Barrière, and Marko's best friend. Congratulations to the other side.
April 14, 2025:
The days of remembrance never end: it's been 15 years since I had to send Oh-Lala (Sel. OH-LALA des Monts d'en Crauzille) on her final journey. Another wonderful dog who will never be forgotten.

Another day of remembrance: just five days after his 12th birthday, Sambo (SAMBO de la Chaume du Bois Dieu) passed away forever in 2013. A candle is lit for him.
April 11, 2005:
The big day has finally arrived. Mamacita (CIB Ch BALT LT EE LV FIN SK MN SLO SRB RO BIH RS GrCh SK RO SRB BIH JSRB Jamming’s MAMACITA) is coming home today.
I met Samu in Brno/CZ, where he will be exhibiting at the EDS 2025. The welcome was indescribable. Mamacita wouldn't stop kissing me. When we got home, she followed me everywhere, played, and jumped onto my lap for a cuddle as soon as I sat down. I promised her I would never let her leave again. The pack was happy to have her home, too.
I don't know if it helped that I kept sending Mamacita voice messages so she wouldn't forget who I was, but I did it regularly, and Milja often sent me videos of Mamacita's joy when she heard my voice. In the voice message Lella played the day before she left back to me, she even went to the dog door to see if I was there. That video (from April 7) is in the Photo Gallery Mamacita down below the albums.
These videos have always touched me deeply, and I'm very grateful to Milja and Lella for sending them to me.
Thanks again to Milja for everything she's done for and with Mamacita, and thanks again to Lella and Samu for giving me the opportunity to attend exhibitions with my sweet little girl that would have been simply impossible for me. It was worth it, but it wasn't an easy time.
